CSA, the EULYNX experts
CSA Engineering positions itself as the EULYNX competence center in Switzerland.
We support railway companies, system integrators, and manufacturers in the introduction of EULYNX.
Our focus is on secure and interoperable communication within the EULYNX architecture.
Consulting & Design
Strategic consulting on EULYNX migration and system architecture design.
Testing & Certification
Support with testing, verification, and SIL4 certification in accordance with EN 50128 and EN 50716.
Development & Integration
Implementation of object controllers and extension and modification of the RaSTA stack, including assessment.
Proof of Concept
Rapid proof of concept with our RaSTA stack and PoC.
The RaSTA Stack
RaSTA (Rail Safe Transport Application) is the secure communication protocol used within the EULYNX architecture. Our RaSTA stack is a complete, SIL4-certified implementation of this protocol.

SBB - Field element of the EULYNX PoC platform
CSA developed an EULYNX-compliant PoC platform for SBB with real field elements for hands-on system verification at the Löwenberg test site.
SBB - RaSTA Protocol Stack
CSA supported SBB in the development and integration of the RaSTA protocol stack for modernizing railway infrastructure. The SIL4-compliant system ensures reliable, safety-critical communication on the SCORPOS platform, meeting high railway safety standards.
DB AG - EULYNX in action
As part of the "Moving Block Demonstrator" project in the Digital Rail Test Field in the Erzgebirge region, CSA adapted and manufactured the EULYNX Object Controller prototype for specific field tests conducted by Deutsche Bahn.
CSA Engineering has no formal partnership with the EULYNX consortium. We work independently based on the published EULYNX specifications.
