About the Project
IMD is a Swiss high-tech company specializing in the optical inspection of plastic parts. At the heart of the Vision Inspection System is the IO board, which complements the image processing unit. The IO board controls and monitors all real-time operations of the machine, including part detection, camera and strobe triggering, and the actuation of valves used to reject defective parts. In addition, it manages communication with the central processing unit.
