The company

Founded in 1989, CSA Engineering AG now employs around 30 people at its Solothurn site.

 
Most of them work in the same area that has been key since CSA was founded: developing electronic products. The main focus has shifted somewhat since then and embedded software has become increasingly important.
It is not uncommon for embedded software to be a greater challenge for CSA's customers than the development of the electronics.
The implementation of customised software is therefore another mainstay of today, just as it was in CSA’s earliest days. In this area, the changes are immense. While in the past software was developed with Delphi for PCs, today's solutions are often operated in the cloud and must be usable on both PCs and mobile devices.

 
In recent years, CSA has constantly developed and adapted its services to meet current customer needs. Today we can offer our customers products and solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT) thanks to the synergies in the areas of embedded systems and applications. This includes the entire technology spectrum from sensors to business applications.

 
With a focus on industries with increased security requirements, CSA has expanded its offering with verification and validation services. Specialists provide customers with support so they can prove that their products have been developed securely in line with the required standards and have been sufficiently tested.
